The National Asian Pacific American Museum Commission is currently holding listening sessions and accepting public comments through the end of June as part of its feasibility study for the creation of a future National Asian Pacific American (APA) Museum .

Dr. Su-Mei Kao, National President, Formosan Association for Public Affair (FAPA), states:

We believe this is an important opportunity for Taiwanese Americans to ensure our unique history, identity, and contributions are recognized and represented rather than overlooked. It is also an issue of concern for FAPA because the future museum may shape how Taiwan and Taiwanese Americans are represented accurately in maps, labels, historical narratives, and community stories.
